Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CrewBase, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

Description of Service

CrewBase offers a free tier for competition organizers (limits apply; see Pricing) and an optional Premium subscription for unlimited use and advanced features. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Maintain the security of your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activities under your account

User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the platform for any illegal purpose
Harass, abuse, or harm other users
Impersonate any person or entity
Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation

Intellectual Property

All content on CrewBase, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of CrewBase or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability

CrewBase is provided free of charge. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason we deem necessary.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Subscription Terms

Billing and Renewal

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selected plan. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled. You will be charged the subscription fee on the same date each month or year, depending on your billing cycle.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the period you've already paid for. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for subscription fees that have already been charged. However, if you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.

Free Tier Guarantee

We guarantee that the free tier (one competition, up to 50 crew signups per competition, 5 leaders, 1 organization, and the associated features) will remain free and accessible. We will not remove or restrict these core features. Premium is for additional capacity and features only.

Changes to Subscription Plans

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing and features. However, any changes will not affect your current subscription until renewal. We will notify subscribers of any significant changes at least 30 days in advance.
